Job Switching Tendency of the BUTexian, Propaganda or Common Phenomena!!

Often we have to face some embarrassing situation during Viva voce of Job Interview, as it is said by the management that we wouldn’t hire BUTexian as their tendency is not to serve the company for a long time. I wonder about the sense of that person who is spreading such type of propaganda. Obviously BUTexian is the most loyal and devotee for the company, in broader sense for the country.
Its undeniable that every BUTexian possess some distinctive qualification, internal eligibility, potentiality. Definitely such discrete qualification made it possible to get competitive advantage in the arena of Textile and RMG sector in Bangladesh as well as in the world. It’s only our distinctive competency which made the BUTexian unbeatable to the others.
It’s my heartiest appeal to the adorable Junior of BUTex, just concentrate on your study and ensure a continuous development of thyself.It’s obvious that your unquenched thirst towards knowledge , your dedication and devotion towards work, your internal eligibility, potentiality, your depth of technical knowledge that you have acquired from the BUTex, would facilitate you to reach in culmination of desired destination.
Obviously we the BUTexian will serve the company for a long time or spend our whole career for the sake of that company. But in which process! By depriving ourself or by proving ourself as an asset for the company through our depth of knowledge, our dedication, sincerity, honesty, integrity and highest level of professionalism; at the same time being evaluated by the management that we deserve. But the actual scenario is different, you will never be evaluated in the same company even if you tried your utmost level or devote yourself for the company (only a few companies is exceptional who develop employee). After being demotivated when you will get a better opportunity and switch your job. Management wouldn’t feel bother to hire one or more person in your position with 2 or 3 times salary than yours, but would never feel interest to pay you few more than your existing salary. The tendency of the management is to deprive ourself as long as they can. They try to cajole ourself by some convincing word and at the end of the day we find all of these were vanity. Our initial salary structure would strongly justify this statement. No organization is focusing to develop their employee to evaluate their most efficient employee, often they treated all employees equally, but equality is not always justice. So in most of the cases management is solely responsible to demotivate and demoralize the employee due to their such process of dehumanization.
When someone is switching their Job it means at the same time another organization is going to hire himself knowing that he might switch his job again as he is BUTexian. It’s because of the distinctive competency of the BUTexian which makes them superior to the others. The management should understand that point that ‘ If you want to hire someone who possesses superior quality, you must have to pay premium remuneration’. By return certainly you get superior efficiency, superior performance, superior innovation, superior effectiveness from their decision in case of strategic management.


Now it’s the point why the BUTexian switching their job, answer is so simple, they want to see themselves in a better position. To see the smiles on the face of their old aged parents by ensuring a minimum living standard, ensure proper treatment of geriatric diseases. As most of the students of Public universities are from economically lower or lower middle class family. 

In an interview, honorable director sir of a renowned group of company asked me; “Mr. Noor, why are you demanding so high, you are still unmarried, so you don’t have any family, what would you do with such a huge salary!”
My answer was so simple & gentle, “sir, I can’t understand what is meant by family, I am indebted to my parent who afford me, nurturing me last 25 years after being experienced with severe poverty, with the hope that one day I will contribute for them, ensure a better living standard. I ain’t indebted to my future wife and my offspring to ensure a luxurious living standard, then ought to cope up with my economic condition that I would have on that time.” 

Now it’s the point what’s the worst scenario that every BUTexian might have to face at the very beginning of their student life and job life. In their student life they are misguided by some of their so called senior who is already pursuing the perverse. Ragging tradition, accommodation facilities, poor academic standard and study materials, poor administration etc noting is congenial for them to develop themselves.
When they are going to start their professional life again they are being deprived and demotivated which enforce them to be demoralized. Here I don’t want to dishonor them by mentioning their initial salary. Obviously we the senior BUTexian is responsible for their worst situation. It’s the ethical rights of the fresher BUTexian to be nurtured properly in their hall life as well as professional life for the sake of our Textile and RMG sector (84% contribution of national export).
Because today’s fresher BUTexain is the proud reflection of our BUTex campus, the alumni of BUTex, as one day they might achieve the glory for us and would make it possible to achieve our desired brand value of BUTex in the world Textile arena.
